A grain of a mustard seed

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field."
Jesus, the Christ goes on to say that the kingdom of heaven is within. These quotes from the New Testament of the Christian bible have been interpreted literally, but what if we took a different look at them, a metaphysical look.

The analogy I use for pure potential of life is the acorn, because for me it is something more tangible. In this story the idea of the mustard seed has more potency because of it's tiny size. We are being asked to look at the very tiniest part and know that even in that there is infinite potential and that it sits within us.

So what is 'the Kingdom of Heaven'? Again there are many translations of this idea, but I believe it to be the self realisation of God in Man, that we are each part of the living God and that as we come to fully recognise that on every level of our being, taking it from a cerebral concept into a heart felt knowing, then we are in heaven. When we live in this place within ourselves we have moved past judging, criticising, separation and fear. Instead we move to a place of acceptance, support, faith, oneness and, the most important of all, Love. For me God and Love are interchangeable words for the same thing. As we live in complete unconditional love for ourselves and everything else, knowing that really it is all part of the same thing, then we truly are living in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Affirmation
In the infinite now I know that there is only One, the universal source of all things. I am connected to that and everything else in the cosmos. I choose to seek that knowing above all things. Before any word I speak, I anchor myself in the Oneness and speak only love. I constantly seek to live in the kingdom of heaven within myself and I forgive all the times I forget. In each moment I know that I am doing the very best that I can, that I am always practicing and I am always a perfect expression of God. All is well.

In Love
